Wasserman Media Group Inks Deal To Represent Digital Ad Firm Social Vibe
Wasserman Media Group has signed a deal to represent L.A.-based digital advertising technology firm Social Vibe, a company that recently landed $20M in venture capital funding. Social Vibe is targeting sports as a key growth area, and it recently powered a promotion in which players of Facebook games FarmVille, PetVille and Mafia Wars were given additional Zynga game currency in exchange for interacting with Kia's Super Bowl XLV ad and creating their own mash-up ad featuring the Kia Soul. Wasserman will aid Social Vibe as it seeks additional sports-related business. Wasserman additionally has hired three new execs in its consulting group, buttressing its digital-related capabilities. Scott Bushman, formerly VP/Content, Programming & Business Development for Metacafe Inc., will be Senior VP/Consulting, Digital Properties & Media. Tag Garson, formerly Senior Dir of Acquisition Strategy & Digital Development for ABC/ESPN, will be Senior VP/Consulting. Randy Satterburg, formerly Senior Dir of Marketing for Qualcomm's FloTV, will be VP/Consulting.
