Overnight Nielsen Ratings From Weekend Sports Telecasts

Fox earned a 5.3 overnight Nielsen rating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Kobalt Tools 500 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon, up 29% from a 4.1 for the race last year, which aired up against the Vancouver Games. For the season to date, the Sprint Cup telecasts on Fox are now three for three on year-over-year ratings gains, each of which had competiton from the Olympics in '10.
