COURT REPORT: In K.C., Mark Morris reports Jackson County (Mo.) jurors yesterday "deliberated a little more than an hour before finding that the Royals were not responsible for injuries suffered by a Kansas man who was hit in the eye by a foil-wrapped hotdog at a September 2009 game." The incident occurred when the team's mascot stood on the dugout roof and fired "bubble-wrapped hotdogs into the stands with an air cannon."
