ESPN The Mag, Runners World Ad Revenue Up Around 25% Last Year

ESPN The Magazine and Runners World both saw ad revenue grow around 25% last year compared to '09, according to figures from the Publishers Information Bureau. ESPN The Magazine saw $306.2M in ad revenue in '10, up 25.8%, while Runners World finished with $86.6M, up 24.6%. Sports Illustrated continued to lead all sports publications with $572M in ad revenue, up 2.1%. Also seeing decent growth were Golf Magazine (+4.9%), Bicycling (+6.9%) and Transworld Ride BMX (+8.9%). Six sports magazines saw double-digit percentage drops in ad revenue last year. SI for Kids saw the sharpest drop, down 55.8%. Listed below is ad revenue for the full-year '10 for select sports publications, with comparisons to '09 (Publishers Information Bureau).
