Published January 7, 2011
The '11 PGA Tour season is under way, and industry execs feel that Phil Mickelson will be the most attractive golfer for sponsors this year, according to results from a Turnkey Sports poll taken in December. Mickelson finished with 42% of the vote, followed by Tiger Woods at 17%. Lee Westwood, now the world's No. 1-ranked golfer, finished third in the poll despite not seeking a PGA Tour card in '11. The survey covered more than 1,100 senior-level sports industry executives spanning pro and college sports (Turnkey Sports Poll).
