Sports Account For 33 Of Top 50 Most-Viewed Shows On Cable In '10
Sports telecasts accounted for 33 of the 50 most-viewed telecasts on cable TV in '10. The NFL accounted for the top 15 most-viewed telecasts, with the Giants-Cowboys "MNF" telecast on ESPN earning the top spot (17.953 million viewers). Among the top 50, the NFL accounted for 19 of the most-viewed cable telecasts. LeBron James' "Decision" on ESPN was the most-viewed NBA-related telecast on cable, topping all '10 NBA playoff telecasts. The top 50 also included four MLB telecasts, three college football games and a U.S.-Canada hockey game from the Vancouver Olympics.
