England's Football Association has appointed DAVID BERNSTEIN as Chair. Bernstein, the former Manchester City Chair, "won a unanimous vote by the FA board in December to become the permanent successor" to LORD DAVID TRIESMAN (PA, 1/25)....MLS FC Dallas has hired JIMMY SMITH as VP/Finance and MATT MCINNIS as VP/Business Development. The club also restructured its senior leadership team, naming KELLY WELLER VP/Marketing, Communications & Strategic Planning and EDUARDO CARVACHO Senior Dir of Int'l Development, and promoting NICK SCHAFER to VP/Stadium Operations and TOM JONES to VP/Complex Management (FC Dallas)....MLS/SUM has hired CARLOS RODRIGUEZ as Video Editor, DAVID SCHOLL as Accounting Coordinator and MEREDITH KRILL as Financial Analyst (MLS/SUM).
EXECS: JOHN FORCE promoted his son-in-law ROBERT HIGHT to President of John Force Racing and DEAN ANTONELLI, his current crew chief, to GM (Tripp Mickle, SportsBusiness Journal)....Triple-A PCL Las Vegas 51s GM DON LOGAN is "stepping down from the position to accept a new role" as Exec Dir. Logan, "who has worked for the franchise since 1984 and served as its general manager for the past 20 years," will be "in charge of finding a buyer and securing a new stadium deal" for the 51s. Former 51s Assistant GM & VP/Marketing CHUCK JOHNSON will replace Logan as GM (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 1/25)....The T'Wolves have hired JIM LYNAM as Basketball Operations Consultant to evaluate pro personnel on a part-time basis (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 1/25)....The Indiana Sports Corp. has promoted BRAD BOWMAN to Senior VP & CFO and JOHN DEDMAN to VP/Communications (Indiana Sports Corp.)....World Sport Group named ADRIAN STAITI Senior VP/Stadiums & Arenas (WSG).
