AHL Attendance Up 4.3% To Date; 11 Clubs Up Double Digits At Home

The AHL, considered the triple-A level of North American hockey, is averaging 4,844 fans per game through Jan. 19, up 4.3% from the same period a year ago. Gains this season are being fueled by 11 clubs that are seeing a double-digit percentage bump at home to date. The Hershey Bears lead all teams with 9,238 fans per game as the team seeks its fifth straight attendance title. The Bears' average is up 4.2% from the same point last season.
