Canadiens Continue Home Sellout Streak; Isles Down 17.6% At Nassau Coliseum

The Canadiens lead all NHL clubs in attendance with 21,273 fans per game, with their record sellout streak at Bell Centre extending back to Jan. 8, 2004. The Lightning are seeing the biggest jump at the gate among all teams, up 12.8% during the first full season of Jeff Vinik's ownership. The Penguins are seeing gains during their first season at Consol Energy Center, as home attendance is up 6.8% compared to the same period a year ago. The Islanders' attendance is down 17.6% at Nassau Coliseum, the sharpest drop among all NHL clubs.
