LVMS Offering BMX Exhibition, Youth Discounts For Sprint Cup Weekend
Published January 19, 2011
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is hosting a BMX exhibition and offering half-price, youth tickets for its March Sprint Cup Series race. The BMX exhibition will take place at a new "Extreme Sports Zone" on the speedway's midway. The zone also will have a skate park where fans will be able to skate and bike. The speedway has partnered with Smith's Food & Drug Stores, a Kroger Company chain, to offer fans under the age of 15 a 50% discount on tickets for its Sprint Cup Series race (March 6), Nationwide Series race (March 5) and pole day (March 4). The youth also will receive free admission to LVMS' Neon Garage, an infield facility that allows fans to watch drivers and crews at work in the garage or hanging out near their hauler. The speedway claims the discounts and promotion represents a cost saving of more than $300 per person. The discounts are available at Smith's stores and on the grocer's website.
