In L.A., Bill Shaikin reports the Dodgers "have parted ways with three vice presidents, the latest in a series of front-office departures over the last two off-seasons." The team cut ties with VP/Security & Stadium Services RAY MAYTORENA, VP/Partnership Development STEVE SPARTIN and VP/Organizational Development & Fan Services JOE WALSH. In addition, the Dodgers' marketing department now has only "three employees listed" in the directory on the team website, "down from eight in last spring's media guide." A source said that the team "plans to retain an ad agency to handle some marketing responsibilities." Shaikin notes "at least 22 front-office employees have left the organization ... over the last 15 months" (L.A. TIMES, 12/28).
