    New Gatorade Ad

Gatorade has been the unquestioned leader in the sports drink market for decades, but the PepsiCo brand is facing more challenges than ever. That was evident earlier this week when Tim Tebow spurned Gatorade and decided to sign a deal with FRS Health Energy. To solidify its position in the market, Gatorade is launching a new ad campaign that seeks to “cast itself as more than a sports drink.” A series of ads starring LaDainian Tomlinson, Dwight Howard and Usain Bolt breaking today promotes its G Series, but the brand is also prepping the April launch of “G Series Fit.” The new products are designed for people who participate in activities like running or yoga. There also will be energy bar bites, a low-calorie drink and a protein drink.
