NFL Attendance Flat Through Week 12; Jaguars Seeing Big Increase
NFL teams are averaging 67,502 fans per game through Week 12, flat compared to the same period a year ago. The Jets, who this season moved into New Meadowlands Stadium, lead all AFC clubs with 78,467 fans per game, up slightly from '09 at Giants Stadium. The Jaguars are seeing the league's biggest jump in attendance, up 36.5% to date at EverBank Field. In Oakland, the Raiders are seeing a slight attendance gain despite filling their stadium to a league-low 72.5% of capacity. The Bills are seeing the sharpest drop among AFC clubs, down 11.2% to date, while the Browns and Chargers are also seeing noticeable drops at the gate.
