NBC, Universal Sports To Carry Rugby Tourney In Vegas Live

NBC and Universal Sports will carry live coverage of a rugby sevens tournament Feb. 12-13 from Las Vegas. The HSBC Sevens World Series will feature teams from 16 countries. It marks the fourth leg of the Series; other venues include Dubai, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, London and Scotland. NBC earlier this year carried the Rugby Sevens Collegiate Championship. NBC will carry four hours of live coverage (3:30-6:00pm ET on Feb. 12; and 4:30-6:00pm on Feb. 13); and Universal Sports will carry four hours of live coverage (2:00-3:30pm on Feb. 12; and 2:00-4:30pm on Feb. 13). The matches will be available on demand via Hulu.com, and NBC Mobile will provide a live simulcast during NBC's window.
