    Thomas' Return To Knicks
    Being Panned Early On

James Dolan’s decision to bring Isiah Thomas back to the Knicks as a consultant is drawing heat from fellow owners, the media and even some within his own organization. At least two team owners have complained about the new arrangement, and the NBA is reviewing the agreement, which would see Thomas continue in his role as coach of Florida International Univ. Thomas’ return two years after leaving the team amid sexual harassment allegations also sets up a power struggle in the Knicks’ front office and renews speculation that he will take over as the team’s GM when Donnie Walsh’s contract expires after the ’12 season. An NBA source says Walsh “finds this entire thing distasteful” and he considers resigning after Dolan brings Thomas aboard. Sources also claim MSG President & CEO Hank Ratner and MSG Sports President Scott O'Neil "voiced their displeasure" over the return of Thomas but were overruled by Dolan.
