Warning Track Power: Home Run Derby Tix Still Readily Available
Published July 8, 2010
Tickets remain freely available on the primary market for Monday's MLB Home Run Derby, marking at least the third straight year in which seats for the event were for sale at face value leading into the Derby. Much like in prior years, the listed ticket inventory represents returns from some allotments previously designated for individual MLB clubs and departments at the league office. MLB officials declined to say how many tickets remain available for the event, but blocks of 50 seats were accessible on MLB.com in various locations of Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and the ticket availability is being marketed on the site. Ticket pricing for the Derby is $120-350, slightly higher than last year's range in St. Louis.
