No U.S. metered market hit double-digit ratings for ABC's coverage of the Belmont Stakes for the first time since '07. Among the top 10 markets for Saturday's telecast, only three saw year-over-year gains for this year's race, which was run without a horse pursuing the Triple Crown and without the winners of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. Louisville topped all metered markets for the Belmont, making the city the highest-rated U.S. market for all three Triple Crown races this year. Still, the city's ratings dropped almost 50% from a year ago. Listed below are the top 10 Nielsen metered markets for the Belmont Stakes, with comparisons to how those markets have performed in recent years (THE DAILY).RKMARKET (SIZE)'10'09'08*'07'06'05'04*1Louisville (49)7.514.618.38.06.511.024.32Cincinnati (33)5.85.310.54.34.35.316.23
