  • Overnight Nielsen Ratings From Weekend Sports Telecasts

    Fox earned a 3.6 overnight Nielsen rating for its Saturday night MLB regional coverage, marking the window's best coverage in almost three years. Saturday's telecast featured Yankees-Mets in 49% of U.S. metered markets, and Cubs-Rangers in 23% of markets, compared to June 2, 2007, when Fox earned a 3.7 overnight for Yankees-Red Sox featured in 86% of markets. The 3.6 overnight is also up 57% from a 2.3 on the comparable Saturday last year, and was the highest-rated sports telecast of the weekend on broadcast TV.
