Yum! Gets Naming Rights To Louisville Arena Louisville’s new downtown arena gets a name, as Yum! Brands agrees to a 10-year, $13.5M naming-rights deal for the venue. The $238M future home of Univ. of Louisville basketball will be dubbed the KFC Yum! Center when it opens this fall and will feature concessions from Yum! Brands restaurants KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. The company also will get a suite, in-arena signs and its name on the arena’s roof. While the deal is a substantial drop from the 20-year, $40M deal the Louisville Arena Authority had initially sought to name the facility, Yum! Brands satisfies the authority's desire for a local partner with a strong presence in the community.
