Harris Poll: UNC, Duke Are Favorite Men's College Basketball Teams

Duke and North Carolina are tied as the favorite men's college basketball team, according to results from the most recent Harris Poll. The two schools had flip-flopped between the top two spots over the past four years before tying for lead this year. Dropping out of the top 10 schools from last season are Illinois, Boston College and Florida. Two of this year's No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament, Syracuse and Kansas, did not rank in the top 10. Among women's teams, Connecticut remains the favorite for the second year in a row. Dropping out of the top 10 from last year's women's rankings were North Carolina, Duke, Illinois, Rutgers and Kentucky. This year's poll was conducted online between March 1-8 among 2,320 adults (age 18+), 627 of which said they followed college basketball (Harris Interactive).
