NHL Attendance Down 2.2%; Coyotes, Avalanche Off Double Digits

With just over a month left in the NHL regular season, attendance is down 2.2% from the same period a year ago. Teams in the Western Conference are down 2.8%, with seven teams seeing declines at the gate. Despite being in good shape to make the playoffs, the Coyotes and Avalanche are seeing the sharpest drops, down 24.6% and 12.1%, respectively. The Ducks are also seeing a double-digit percentage drop at Honda Center. The Blackhawks continue to lead all NHL clubs with 21,165 fans per game, packing United Center at 107.3% capacity.
