  • Rams Co-Owner Restates Team May Not Be Sold

While the Rams are off to an 0-6 start this season, co-Owner Chip Rosenbloom restates over the weekend that he is committed to the team and may not in fact sell the club. The future of the Rams has been the subject of constant debate in recent days due to Rush Limbaugh’s proposed involvement in a group bidding for the team, but Rosenbloom “does not feel any pressure” to sell the franchise. If the team is sold, Rosenbloom said he and sister Lucia Rodriguez want to keep it in St. Louis. That would seem to rule out the Rams -- at least for now -- as a possible candidate to land in a new NFL stadium planned outside of L.A. Ed Roski’s group previously has implied they expect a team to be back in SoCal in two seasons, and he says he will begin construction of the facility “the moment we have secured an NFL franchise.”
