    Sims Hinds Leaving AEG To
    Pursue Other Interests
    AEG Facilities Senior VP/Business Development SIMS HINDS has left the company to pursue other interests, an AEG spokesperson confirmed. Hinds, whose resume includes stints with SMG and the Hurricanes, was hired in early '07 to help develop AEG’s facility operations division, a group that has grown to include about 50 management, booking and marketing contracts (Don Muret, SportsBusiness Journal).

    EXECS: The Devils yesterday named Massachusetts Sports & Entertainment Commission Managing Dir RICH KREZWICK COO. Krezwick previously served as Bruins and TD Garden President & CEO for 10 years before resigning three years ago (Bergen RECORD, 10/8). Krezwick was principally involved in opening Prudential Center, the Devils’ facility in Newark, in the fall of ‘07 (THE DAILY)....MLS Chivas USA President & CEO SHAWN HUNTER has joined the BOD of Total Sports Asia (Total Sports Asia)....TV host and journalist JOHN DALY was named VP/Broadcast Operations for the World Series of Golf (WSOG). Daly will oversee all of the company's TV and Internet productions and serve as the event's on-camera host and commentator. Daly will also create new TV formats for the World Series of Golf game (WSOG)….Keeneland Race Course named JAY BLANTON Dir of Communications & Marketing. Blanton will step down from his current role as Communications Dir for Kentucky Gov. STEVE BESHEAR in November (BLOODHORSE.com, 10/7)....Former EPL club Chelsea Manager AVRAM GRANT was appointed Dir of Football for EPL club Portsmouth (ESPNSOCCERNET.com, 10/7).

    Live Earth Producer KEVIN WALL and his company Control Room "have been chosen to organize and produce a three-hour concert to kick off" the FIFA World Cup in South Africa on June 10, 2010. The concert at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg "will take place the day before South Africa begins hosting the soccer tournament."     Inspiration In A Bottle: PepsiCo is featuring employee Lori Tauber Marcus on bottles of Gatorade as a breast cancer survivor as part of "Giving Hope a Hand, a nationwide program led by national grocery chain Kroger Co."
