Accavitti Resigns From Dodge As Part Of Major Restructuring

In Orlando, Steven Cole Smith reported Dodge yesterday announced a "major restructuring of its executive ranks," including the resignation of Dodge President & CEO MIKE ACCAVITTI. Chrysler Senior VP/Design RALPH GILLES will add the title of Dodge President & CEO. A Chrysler source said Gilles is a "huge fan of motorsports," and if there is a "way to get a Dodge on the race track, he's in favor of it" (ORLANDOSENTINEL.com, 10/5).

EXECS: Packers Senior VP/Marketing & Sales LAURA SANKEY has left the organization. Packers President & CEO MARK MURPHY said that the departure was a "mutual decision." Sankey was named to the position in July '08 (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 10/6). Murphy said that a search for a replacement "would not begin immediately, and that it was possible the job would not be filled by the end of the season" (JSONLINE.com, 10/5)....The Royals named Coyotes Exec VP & CMO MICHAEL BUCEK VP/Marketing & Business Development (Royals)....Red Bull named former Hamburg SV Sporting Dir DIETMAR BEIERSDORFER Sporting Dir of the soccer division for the entire Red Bull organization. Beiersdorfer will be based in Salzburg, Austria, and he will be in charge of Red Bull soccer teams in N.Y., Salzburg and Leipzig, Germany. He also will be responsible for soccer academies in Brazil and Ghana (Red Bull)....Classic Media promoted JOHN RUZICH to Senior VP/Business & Legal Affairs and General Counsel.
