Bilello Spends Most Weekends Working, But Schedules Family Time

Ever wonder how executives in sports business spend their weekends? THE DAILY this week continues our new feature, "What's Up For The Weekend?," providing readers with an inside-look at people in our industry. Today, we catch up with Revolution COO BRIAN BILELLO, who talked to Staff Writer Jessica Collins about his weekend plans.

Q: Do you have a weekend routine, and if so, what is it?

Bilello: Revolution games are primarily played on Saturday nights, so Saturdays are mostly spent working. While I always watch our game, I also tend to watch one to two other MLS games each weekend. Additionally, I spend a fair amount of time following media coverage of the Revolution and national coverage of our league. When not doing work activities, I'm spending as much time as possible with my family. We always try to have a scheduled family activity every weekend together, even if it is as simple as going to a local park for a few hours.

Q: What is a weekend must read?

Bilello: MLSnet.com, Boston Herald, Boston Globe, ESPN.com, CNNSI.com to see what coverage we're getting both pre- and post-game.

Q: What is your weekend exercise routine?

Bilello: Riding my exercise bike for a "real" workout and playing soccer with my two girls for fun.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Bilello: Our team picking up the win and taking three points at home.
