Dick's Sporting Goods Chair & CEO Edward Stack, Vice Chair WILLIAM COLOMBO and BOD member LAWRENCE SCHORR last week sold a combined 120,000 company shares at prices ranging from $22.25-22.81 each. This comes after Stack and Colombo bought a combined 177,000 shares from May-November '08, and Dir of Research BEN SILVERMAN said, "It's a little odd, especially coming from a CEO, to see buys and sells within a short period of time. The way I look at it, it's a red flag. It's a negative sentiment indicator" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 9/2).
