| Fisher Wearing Pink To Support Susan G. Komen For The Cure |
Dollar General will trade in its familiar yellow and black paint scheme on Sarah Fisher's IndyCar Series ride for a special pink design to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer initiative. Fisher will drive the pink Dollar General car in the Octobert 10 IndyCar finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Dollar General will make a $25,000 contribution to the Komen charity, while also teaming with MainGate Apparel to sell pink hats that will be part of the fundraising effort. The pink hats will be available at dollargeneral.com beginning today through October 31. Each hat comes with a Fisher autographed hero card. To promote the effort, Dollar General is placing life-size stand-ups of Fisher in her pink suit in each of the stores.
