Kiernan Joins GMR Marketing As Senior VP

Ed Kiernan has landed with GMR Marketing as Senior VP after spending nearly a decade leading the marketing efforts at Peter Jacobsen Sports (PJS), an Oregon-based agency that specializes in event management and corporate consulting within professional golf. In the new role, Kiernan will work on business development and corporate consulting across various platforms including sports, lifestyle and music. He will report to Exec VP/Sports Mike Boykin. Kiernan, 35, began his career managing tournaments on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, including events in Connecticut, Ohio and Florida. While at PJS, he oversaw the corporate consulting practice as a partner and CMO, working with companies like Diageo, Hard Rock, Lexus and Red Bull. Kiernan, who lives in Naples, Florida, will commute weekly to GMR’s offices in N.Y.
