Veritix Announces Partnership With Jazz, EnergySolutions Arena
Published September 29, 2009
Cleveland-based ticketing operation Veritix today announced its deal to become the exclusive ticketing provider for the Jazz and EnergySolutions Arena. Veritix' deal with Smith's Tix, a Utah-based ticket distributor, will also cover more than three dozen venues and organizations, including Spring Mobile Ballpark in Salt Lake City and the USANA Ampitheatre. Veritix will install its fully integrated digital ticketing system for both primary and secondary ticketing at EnergySolutions Arena and several of the other major Utah venues. Additionally, Veritix is slated to go live on Thursday with its full primary- and secondary-ticketing system at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The activation arrives after Veritix in June settled its lengthy legal dispute with Ticketmaster over the use of Veritix' Flash Seats paperless ticketing at the arena. Veritix is owned by Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert. The Veritix-EnergySolutions Arena alignment was first reported last month in SportsBusiness Journal.
