UNLV promoted acting AD JERRY KOLOSKIE to Interim AD, which "puts him in place until a permanent successor" is found for MIKE HAMRICK, who became Marshall Univ. AD in July. Koloskie has been at UNLV for 26 years, serving the past 10 as Senior Associate AD. A search for a permanent athletic director is "expected to begin in early 2010 and end in the spring" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 8/28).

EXECS: The LPGA BOD approved the nomination of former LPGA CMO BILL SUSETKA to the board. He fills the seat vacated by MARTY EVANS, who was named Acting Commissioner in July. Susetka retired from his position in May (Jon Show, SportsBusiness Journal)....Former Miller Brewing Exec VP/Worldwide Operations VIRGIS COLBERT "will not seek another term" on the Bradley Center BOD, on which he had served since '98 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 8/28)....The Int'l Ski Federation (FIS) and its marketing partners Tridem Sports and Infront Sports & Media have established FIS Marketing AG, which will be based in Switzerland, headed by Tridem Sports CEO CHRISTIAN PIRZER. The new company will be structured as an independent and separately staffed entity tasked with the sales and handling of FIS controlled marketing rights. FIS will be the majority shareholder, with Tridem and Infront holding the remaining shares as equal partners (FIS)....Saints Staff Accountant LINDA BOURGEOIS is retiring Friday after 42 years with the organization. Saints coaches and players Thursday "paid tribute after practice" to Bourgeois, and Saints coach SEAN PAYTON noted she was the "first employee hired by the Saints" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 8/28)....BRET POLVOROSA has accepted the role of VP/Ticket Sales for the WHL Portland Winterhawks and will continue to be on the faculty at Sports Management Worldwide (THE DAILY)....GoVision named ALEX BETHKE LED Technician. Bethke will work out of the company's Keller, Texas, HQs (GoVision).
