The CHICAGO TRIBUNE's Kathy Bergen writes the meetings that Chicago 2016 is holding in the city's 50 wards are "the first systematic efforts to hear from residents in every corner of the city," but some Chicagoans "are saying the sessions are too little, too late for a campaign that has been more corporate than populist in tone" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE).

The L.A. TIMES' Bill Shaikin writes of the Baseball HOF's treatment of PEDs, "It is easy to know when Shoeless Joe Jackson was banned, when the color barrier was broken. It is not so easy to sense when time might provide the proper perspective on the steroid era" (L.A. TIMES).
