YES' Deal With Verizon Marks Latest In-Market Streaming Partner
Published August 13, 2009
YES Network signed its second in-market streaming deal, inking a deal with Verizon that gives FiOS TV and broadband customers in the N.Y. market access to Yankees games. The multi-year deal starts tomorrow with Yankees-Mariners game. Verizon is charging customers $29.95 for the rest of the season; and $19.95 for any 30-day period. Verizon customers in N.Y, upstate New York and some areas of New Jersey are eligible. Earlier this summer, YES Network signed a similar deal with Cablevision.
