Titans Logo To Be Featured On New Scratch-Off Ticket

The Titans and the Tennessee Lottery Friday will announce a new deal which "gives lottery players an opportunity to win prizes including season tickets, cash up to $100,000 and team memorabilia," according to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville TENNESSEAN. The Titans logo "will be featured on the instant scratch-off tickets" that feature "15 Titan helmets, offers a chance to win cash prizes of up to $100,000 instantly." A series of "second-chance drawings to be held in the fall will offer the chance to win" prizes such as two Titans club season tickets for 20 years; four sets of two season tickets for the '10 season; four club seats for games against the Cardinals, Rams and Chargers this season; footballs autographed by the entire team; replica jerseys autographed by team members; and team merchandise prize packs. Titans and lottery officials "declined to disclose how much money the team will receive" for the deal (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 7/31).

PACKERS NEARING LOTTERY DEAL: The Packers held their annual shareholders meeting Thursday, and Packers President & CEO Mark Murphy indicated that the team is "close to a deal with the Wisconsin Lottery." However, he added that a deal to "sell commercial patches on practice jerseys ... is not imminent" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/31).
