DeBauche succeeds JON STEINBRECHER, who joined the Mid-American Conference in May (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 7/29)….The Big South Conference named MARY GOVER Compliance/Administration Assistant, DANIEL COOKE PR Assistant and JANETTE LAVERY Marketing Assistant (Big South)….The Univ. of Delaware named Georgetown Univ. Associate AD for Compliance SAMANTHA HUGE Senior Associate Dir of Athletics (Delaware)….Boston Univ. (BU) promoted DAN SATTER to Associate AD for Marketing Communications (BU)….Wingate Univ. promoted Dir of Compliance & Business Operations for Athletics LIZ BIGGERSTAFF to Assistant AD for Compliance & Business Operations (Wingate Univ.)….Greensboro College announced AD KIM STRABLE "was laid off as the position was eliminated as part of restructuring at the college" (SPORTING NEWS TODAY, 7/29).
FRANCHISES: The Packers named PAUL BANIEL VP/Finance, replacing VICKI VANNIEUWENHOVEN who resigned in April. For the past six years, Baniel was CFO for Potawatomi Bingo Casino, and from '95-02 was Brewers VP/Finance (Packers)….The Heat promoted MARK BROWN to VP/Ticket Sales (Heat)....The Wild named BRENT FLAHR as Assistant GM. For the past two seasons, Flahr was Dir of Hockey Operations for the Senators (Wild).
