CAA Sports Nearing Deal To Acquire Henry Thomas' NBA Practice
Published July 20, 2009
In a deal that would bring the three biggest stars of the '10 NBA free agent class under one roof, sources say CAA Sports is close to announcing that it has acquired the practice of NBA player agent Henry Thomas, who represents Raptors F Chris Bosh and Heat G Dwyane Wade. CAA Sports basketball agent Leon Rose already represents Cavaliers F LeBron James, who is also expected to be a free agent in '10. CAA Sports officials declined comment. Thomas did not return phone calls to his office and his cell requesting comment. The rumor that Thomas was joining CAA was first reported by industry Web site hoopshype.com.
