Tiger Woods Again Tops Harris Poll Of Most Popular Athletes

Golfer Tiger Woods for the fourth consecutive year was named America's favorite sports star, according to a Harris Interactive poll. Former NBAer Michael Jordan, the only athlete to appear on every Harris list since it started in '93, was No. 2, while Cavaliers F LeBron James ranked No. 3. Tennis player Serena Williams was named the most popular female athlete, with her sister Venus ranking No. 2. IRL driver Danica Patrick, who topped the list in '08, is at No. 3 this year. The nationwide poll surveyed 2,177 U.S. adults online between June 8-15. The chart below lists the top 10 male and female athletes (Harris Interactive).
