    The NHL has officially confirmed the worst-kept secret in hockey, announcing Fenway Park as the host of the Flyers-Bruins Winter Classic on New Year's Day. Many details surrounding the game -- including ticket prices, the rink configuration and the possible inclusion of a college hockey game -- have yet to be unveiled, but the news is already creating front-page headlines. It is again apparent the Winter Classic is also a major draw for sponsors, as Bridgestone signs on as the game’s title sponsor months before it did so for the ’09 game. In other NHL news, the league signs a two-year deal with NBC to extend their revenue-sharing deal, and the '09-10 regular-season schedule does not include a rumored re-launch game following the Vancouver Games.
