Marlins Name Perrina Dir Of Business Communications

MSG Media has promoted Dir of Media Sales RICHARD MCNAMARA to the newly-created position of VP/Integrated Media Sales. McNamara will continue reporting to MSG Senior VP/Integrated Media Sales ART VENTURA (MSG)....The Marlins named Miami Seaquarium PR Manager CAROLINA PERRINA Dir of Business Communications. Perrina will handle the day-to-day communications of all new ballpark issues (Marlins)....The Nets promoted Dir of PR AARON HARRIS to Senior Dir of PR (SPORTING NEWS TODAY, 7/15)....Providence College has signed AD BOB DRISCOLL to an extension through the '15-16 season (Providence)....Royal Opera House CEO TONY HALL has been appointed to the London 2012 BOD. Hall will be responsible for "delivering the Cultural Olympiad celebrations that will run alongside" the '12 London Games (MORETHANTHEGAMES.co.uk, 7/15).

EXECS: The U.S. Bowling Congress (USBC) BOD has voted DARLENE BAKER President-elect. Baker will become the first female USBC President, effective August 1, 2010 (USBC)....The Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund named VP STEPHANIE GLANCE President, succeeding MARSHA SHARP, who accepted the Exec Dir position. The Fund also named Nike Manager of Women's College Basketball JILL PIZZOTTI Secretary, succeeding CONNIE ROGERS-NEWCOME, who will become VP. Belmont Abbey College women's basketball coach SUSAN YOW, sister of late N.C. State women's basketball coach KAY YOW, has joined the BOD, replacing CBS' BILL COWHER (WBCA).
