Duffy Will Replace Behrman On An Interim Basis

The Bobcats announced that Exec VP & CFO MICHAEL BEHRMAN is resigning. Behrman, who joined the organization in '05, will be replaced on an interim basis by BILL DUFFY, former CFO of the Atlanta Spirit group and now a consultant with Atlanta-based Aspire Group. Duffy has been a consultant for the Bobcats for the past five months (John Lombardo, SportsBusiness Journal).

COLLEGE: The Summit League Council of Presidents voted to extend the contract of Commissioner TOM DOUPLE to '13 (Summit League)….Kansas State Univ. named former Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee Exec Dir REID SIGMON Senior Associate AD for Administration. Sigmon will oversee all financial, contractual and legal matters and serve as a conduit between the department and the university counsel and VP/Administration & Finance BRUCE SHUBERT. Sigmon will earn $130,000 for '09-10 (K.C. STAR, 7/9)….DePaul Univ. named GREG GREENWELL Dir of Sports Information & Media Relations. Greenwell has served as Assistant Dir since July '00 (DePaul).

EXECS: Sports marketer TOM FOX was named to the AVP BOD. Fox has worked at the NBA, Nike, Gatorade and most recently, the Wasserman Media Group (AVP)....The IHL Quad-City Mallards named JIM RIGGS Exec VP. He will oversee business operations and marketing for the organization. Most recently, Riggs was Commissioner of the EPHL (QUAD-CITY TIMES, 7/9)….Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group (PSEG) named MISTY YOHANNON Dir of Business Development (PSEG)….Sport Graphics Account Manager MELISSA CAITO has joined Indiana Sports Corp. as Dir of Sponsorship Sales (Indiana Sports Corp.).
