2009 marks the 10th anniversary of one of the most active years in arena development. We’re going to flash back to 1999 when the sports industry welcomed venues such as American Airlines Arena, Philips Arena, Pepsi Center and Staples Center. Then, we’ll flash forward to see how those buildings kept up with the times through renovations and reconfigurations aimed at staying fresh and providing new revenue streams.
