Henry & Co.'s (JWH) $123M Global Analytics fund ended '08 with a 91% "return for the year, in contrast" to the 38% drop in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index. JWH invests in "more than 80 markets, among them coffee and gold futures." Henry's "computer programs look for trends that last more than 30 days," and he has "stuck with the strategy since he founded JWH in 1982."
