Evans Elected To Churchill Downs BOD

Churchill Downs Inc. (CDI) elected the following to three-year terms on its BOD:  former MLB Senior Advisor LEONARD COLEMAN JR., The Duchossois Group CEO CRAIG DUCHOSSOIS, CDI President & CEO ROBERT EVANS and GWH Holdings President G. WATTS HUMPHREY JR. (CDI). CDI also named TVG analyst JILL BYRNE Dir of On-Air Racing Communications (BLOODHORSE.com, 6/18)....Electronic Arts (EA) named Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Business Corporate VP JOHN SCHAPPERT COO, replacing JOHN PLEASANTS. Schappert, who left EA in '07 to join Microsoft, is scheduled to begin his new job July 14 (EA)....Ticketmaster named Paciolan Chair JANE KLEINBERGER to the newly-created position of Exec VP/College Athletics (Ticketmaster)....Centerplate named former Truman Sports Complex Concessions Manager BOB THORMEIER Arrowhead Stadium GM (Centerplate)....Former EPL club Liverpool Chair DAVID MOORES has resigned from the club's BOD, two years after selling his majority stake (BBC.co.uk, 6/18)....MCG Sports has promoted MINDY WALKER to Senior Account Manager and hired DEREK O'ROURKE as Dir of Event Marketing Services (MCG Sports).
