    As the four cities competing to land the '16 Olympic Games gather today in Switzerland to argue their case in front of IOC officials, Chicago makes a concession that removes a major point of contention from its bid. Chicago Mayor Richard Daley this morning says the city will sign the IOC host contract without any modifications, a departure from the long-held stance that Chicago may have legal issues accepting some of the guarantees included in the terms of the deal. The Windy City in its 90-minute presentation also trumpets the new White House Olympic office in Chicago as further proof of President Obama's commitment to the bid. IOC member Pat Hickey: "I heard a lot of good comments from my colleagues." Fellow IOC member Mario Pescante adds that it was a "step above previous U.S. bids."
