  • Stadium To Be Renamed For Land Shark Lager

    Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross earlier this offseason expressed a desire to enhance the fan experience at Dolphin Stadium, and the latest development certainly could take a step in that direction. The team has a deal with Land Shark Lager, a joint project between A-B and musician Jimmy Buffett, on a one-year naming-rights pact. As part of the agreement, which will formally be announced later this week, Buffett will play two concerts at the stadium for little or no cost. Meanwhile, Mike Dee is hired as CEO of both the team and the stadium. Dee is heading to South Florida after spending the last five years as Red Sox COO, where he was responsible for many of the recent innovations made to and around Fenway Park.
