IMG Promotes Abrutyn To Global Consulting Managing Dir, Senior VP & Head

IMG Worldwide named IMG U.S. Consulting Senior VP DAVID ABRUTYN IMG Global Consulting Managing Dir, Senior VP & Head, replacing ANDY PIERCE, who has left the company. Abrutyn, who joined IMG in '99, will report to IMG Sports & Entertainment President GEORGE PYNE. Meanwhile, IMG Managing Dir & Senior VP/North American Business Development TOM WORCESTER, who previously reported to Pierce, now will report directly to Pyne (IMG).

EXECS: Dish Network has reshuffled its management team, promoting Exec VP & CFO BERNIE HAN to COO. Dish Exec VP TOM CULLEN also has assumed additional responsibilities, as he now will oversee all sales and marketing functions in addition to his existing management of programming operations. Both Han and Cullen will report to Dish Chair, President & CEO CHARLIE ERGEN (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/28)....Wildcat Sports Marketing has changed its named to Northwestern Sports Properties (NSP). NSP will be the sole source for Northwestern Univ. athletics corporate partnerships including in-game football and basketball radio on WGN-AM, on-premise development and corporate development. NSP GM AMY POTTER, who has 12 years of corporate marketing and sponsorship management experience, will continue to lead the team. NSP also recently hired SHAWN ADAMS as General Sales Manager. Adams has media and sports sales experience with organizations including the Bears and NBC (NSP)....Liberty Sports Group promoted JILL WIGGINS to the newly created position of Senior Dir of Corporate Marketing & Communications. Wiggins will continue to lead efforts for FSN Northwest with respect to regional marketing, communications and on-air promotions (Liberty)....Calder Race Course & Casino named Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Corporate Development Dir STEVE BRAUNER Dir of Sales & Service (Calder).
