NFL Names AP As Exclusive Licensing Agent For Still Images
Published April 22, 2009
The NFL picked The Associated Press to be the exclusive worldwide licensing agent for the league's still images. The deal, announced today, essentially allows the AP to sell its own NFL images for commercial use. Until now, the AP had used its NFL images only for editorial purposes. The deal also covers historical images from the AP's archive.
