Puma, Nike To Unveil New Footwear At This Week's Masters
Published April 6, 2009
Puma and Nike are sending their golfers to The Masters this week in special footwear. Australian golfer Geoff Ogilvy will play a practice round on Wednesday at Augusta National wearing different colored Puma spikes. Puma golfers have worn gold, silver and camouflage spikes in the past, but this is the first time one of them has worn one black shoe and one white shoe in competition. Meanwhile, Nike Golf created custom Nike Dunk shoes for each of its players in the event. The shoes have the player’s name, Augusta 2009 and, when applicable, “winner” on the side of the shoe.
