Published April 1, 2009
CBSSports.com has drawn 6.92 million unique visitors to the '09 version of March Madness on Demand through the regional final games of the NCAA men's basketball tournament, a 56% increase over last year. The online coverage of the tournament has also generated 8.04 million hours of consumed live audio and video, 71% higher than a year ago. The Comcast-sponsored Boss Button has now been clicked 2.7 million times, 200,000 more than the entire '08 tournament. Each current-year figure is an all-time record for the event.
