Titans Exec VP/Administration & Facilities Don MacLachlan said that the team is "enjoying a season ticket renewal percentage rate in the 'high 90s,' strong enough to mirror previous seasons." In Nashville, Gary Estwick notes in a front-page piece that the Titans' season-ticket prices this season "range from $43 to $83 per game, an increase of $2 to $3 from last season, depending on seat location." Last season, the team's average season ticket price was the 29th-lowest out of the 32 NFL teams (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 4/1).
FLYING THE COUP: ESPN.com's Chris Mortensen reported the Falcons "have reached a settlement with quarterback Michael Vick on their breach-of-contract claim that is still awaiting an appeals court decision on a grievance case." Vick has agreed to pay the Falcons $7.5M if the team "wins an appeal in the Eighth Circuit Court," or $6.5M if the court "upholds U.S. District Judge David Doty's decision that Vick is only liable for $3.75[M]." The settlement "should pave the way for Vick's imminent release from the team" (ESPN.com, 3/31).
TWEET DEAL: In Milwaukee, Don Walker noted the Bucks "have their own Twitter account, known as @bucksdotcom, and are planning a gathering on Wednesday, April 8" before their game against the Hawks at the Bradley Center. For $20, the Bucks will give fans a "lower-level seat for the game, and all Tweet-Up participants will sit courtside during team warm-ups prior to the game" (JSONLINE.com, 3/31).
