Dancing Days: Nike Brands Worn By 52 Teams In Women's Tourney

Fifty-two of the 64 teams in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament sport the Nike swoosh or Jordan Brand logo on their shoes, equal with the number in last year’s event, according to THE DAILY's annual breakdown of shoe and apparel brands worn by tournament teams. Nine teams wear adidas shoes, down from 11 in ‘08. Western Carolina is the lone school to wear New Balance shoes and uniforms. Nike/Jordan jerseys are worn by 48 teams. Maryland and Auburn both have endorsement deals with Under Armour, but can wear basketball shoes made by other companies. Schools are listed by region in their seed order.
